Proofreading/Editing
Flexible language solutions are more than translation: Paraphrase offers proofreading and editing independently or in connection with translation. Hence, it is your need as a customer that determines the character of the task.
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
- Proofreading covers proofreading of finished texts in order to correct errors in punctuation, spelling, grammar and language usage, while text editing covers subjects, such as evaluation of phrasing and style, sender/receiver relationship and cultural differences.
When a text is used to represent the company, it is important that it is completely flawless and written in a fluent, intelligible and precise language. It is therefore a good idea to have the text corrected by a professional language specialist who is trained to find grammatical and stylistic errors. One comma alone can change the meaning of a sentence completely!
